Ifa wheel is not in the budget, a DS4 or XBox controller might be a happy medium between the dinky little Q2 sticks and a wheel. ehh possibly, but we're talking about a sim, not an arcade game. The tiny range of motion of the stick isn't going to come near the resolution needed to properly drive any of those cars.
