No tripod foot. The Canon Mount Adapter EF-EOS R ($99.99) is, at its core, a very basic accessory. It has one job—to make Canon EF and EF-S SLR lenses perform just the same on the EOS R

1 day ago · I'm not sure about the filter size, but if your lens is like other variation of the EF-S 18-55mm lens (mine is an EF-S 18-55 f/3.5-5.6 IS II) it takes a 58mm filter. I use UV multicoated filters on all of my lenses for protection. I purchased some Waka UV multicoated filters (made in Japan) from Amazon for some of my lenses for about $10 each.

No EF-M lens can be mounted on an RF or EF/EF-S mount camera and be able to focus to infinity. This is because the EF-M mount is has the shortest registration distance (a/k/a flange focal distance) of the three mounts. The EF-M mount also has a smaller throat diameter, which is the diameter of the hole in the camera's flange ring.
No, You still have it wrong….. An EF 50mm and an EF-S/EF-M 85mm will NOT produce similar field of view. Not even close. Neither will an EF 85mm and an EF-S/EF-M 50mm. If she buys an EF 50mm and an ef-s 50mm, they will both look the same when used on the same camera.
